About the Role
You will assist elderly residents with daily living activities at a care facility in Hamilton. Your responsibilities will include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics. You will take vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature, serve meals and assist with feeding when needed, provide companionship and emotional support, document health changes in resident records, and communicate effectively with registered nurses about resident needs.
Weekly Salary: $1,300 NZD (approximately $790 USD)
Requirements
You must be a certified nursing assistant holding the relevant qualification or an equivalent recognized certification. English proficiency is required. You must demonstrate genuine empathy, patience, and physical stamina for demanding care work. A clean criminal record is mandatory. First aid and CPR certification is required or you must be willing to obtain it
