About the Role
You will diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, vans, and light trucks at a busy modern workshop in Christchurch. Your daily tasks will include engine repairs, brake system overhauls, electrical diagnostics, suspension work, and routine servicing. You will work alongside experienced senior mechanics and have access to state-of-the-art workshop equipment.
Weekly Salary: $1,500 NZD (approximately $910 USD)
Requirements
You must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with gasoline, diesel, and electric vehicles. A vocational certificate in automotive technology or an equivalent qualification is required. You should be proficient in using diagnostic scanners and various repair equipment. A valid driver's license is mandatory. Basic communication skills in English are expected. Having your own tool kit is preferred but not strictly required.
