About the Role
You will maintain and repair production machinery and equipment at a modern manufacturing facility in Tauranga. Your daily tasks will include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting unexpected breakdowns, replacing faulty components, and documenting all repairs thoroughly. You will work closely with production staff to coordinate maintenance activities during planned downtime to minimize disruption.
Weekly Salary: $1,700 NZD (approximately $1,030 USD)
Requirements
You must hold an industrial technician certification or have equivalent work experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with automated production systems is required. You need to be capable of troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and best practices is essential. Basic English is required.
