About the Role
You will transport goods between cities across New Zealand. Your responsibilities will include conducting pre-trip vehicle safety inspections, securing cargo properly, ensuring timely deliveries, and managing logbooks. You will communicate regularly with dispatchers using GPS and mobile communication systems and handle basic paperwork including delivery confirmations.
Weekly Salary: $1,400 NZD base plus overtime (approximately $850 USD base)
Requirements
You must hold a valid Class 4 or Class 5 driver's license. You need to have working knowledge of digital tachograph systems and full compliance with driving hours regulations. A minimum of 2 years of long-haul driving experience is required. You must have a clean driving record with no major violations. You must be willing to pass drug and alcohol screening. Basic English is required.
