About the Role
You will install, maintain, and inspect electrical systems in commercial buildings such as offices, retail stores, and warehouses across Wellington. Your duties will include running conduit, pulling wire through walls and ceilings, installing lighting fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, and electrical panels. You will perform electrical safety checks, troubleshoot faults, and ensure all work meets code requirements.
Weekly Salary: $1,800 NZD (approximately $1,090 USD)
Employer Support: Full package including flight ticket, private accommodation.
Requirements
You must be a licensed electrician with New Zealand certification or be eligible for reciprocity recognition. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical installation is required. You need thorough knowledge of electrical codes and regulations. A valid driver's license is mandatory. English proficiency is required.
